And while the allure of having an AI solve your writing problems is undeniable, it represents a troubling new facet of the writing situation—a final product with no process.
The traditional approach to teaching writing emphasizes process from invention to final product. But, how often do we emphasize process in other parts of our professional lives? How do we evaluate the processes that lead us to new insights and ways of knowing? We welcome panels, individual papers, multi-modal presentations, workshops, performances, and roundtables from all areas of English studies for the 2023 conference.
Please send any inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Proposals should be submitted June 15th, 2023. Presenters will be notified by July 21st, 2023 and must accept invitation to present and register for the conference by August 25th, 2023.
